Tuesday Jan 24th Lunchbox

Seriously cold again this morning, but it was great to be out walking to work.
Through Pontcanna Fields and a man in his 70s passed me at an impressive speed carrying a pretty full looking Tesco bag. No idea on its contents... but on reflection perhaps it was full of Muller Light yoghurts. He kept on going until he was out of sight.

The River Taff was moving a little bit more enthusiastically this morning _ but it was still all very sedate.
A few ducks were on the river, one decided to dive head first into the waters for an early bath.
Only saw two grey squirrels this morning _ perhaps the rest were discussing battle strategies for the coming show down with mankind.

The lunchbox
2 sausage sandwiches, 2 ham sandwiches, all on granary bread.
2 satsumas
1 Muller Light Yoghurt... raspberry flavour
2 rich tea biscuits
Small container of sliced up kiwi fruit.

What happened?

Having reviewed my eating tactics I decided to really shake things up.
At 11am I usually have the biscuits... but this time I went with the kiwi fruit, followed by a satsuma.
The sandwiches went at midday _ first the sausage ones (left over from Mrs B's sausage, mash and onion gravy last night), then the ham.
I then went for the Raspberry yoghurt, followed by the rich tea biscuits. Then had the apple and the remaining satsuma.

Random Thoughts : The UK has a massive prison population. Perhaps we should encourage prisioners to take up day releases to clear the streets/parks etc etc, of our growing litter problem.

If I was doing time [don't watch this space] I would much prefer to be out picking up litter than being stuck in my cell.

Might be an idea to add a small red dragon to the Union Jack flag... could be good in helping to market Wales.
