BREAKFAST: All is well bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed organic milk, which again captured the intense interest of my daughter Isabella, pictured some months back above. Walk to Work: It was down the infamous Cowbridge Road East, where the 1927 Cafe had two workers, who had parked a huge truck outside, as its only customers merrily devouring two huge cooked breakfasts. Over Canton Bridge and into the centre of Cardiff, a coach with the Argentinian rugby team passed by. Could have been heading for the M4, or possibly Cardiff International Airport for a flight to France. Lunchbox 4 ham and tomato sandwiches 1 apple 1 banana 2 chocolate digestive biscuits Some cherries. Considering purchasing a raincoat this lunchtime . Random Thought 2070: Shakin Stevens, who is pretty old yes but still a great performer, plays his first gig in the Antarctican capital of AmundScott

For readers of yesterday's blog... all 40 of of you with the majority only being brought here via image searches and clicking out straight away, apologies for not posting yesterday. I was all day interviewing for a new head chef at my soon to open restaurant in the Antarctican capital of AmundScott. No! That's rubbish. The truth is I was under the weather and was off work for the day. The first time in years, simply years. Walk to Work: It was down Cowbridge Road East, with drizzle in the air. What a wonderful stretch of highway it is. The infamous Tuck-In eatery has been given an external face lift. Crosssing over Canton Bridge, my umbrella locked horns with one coming the other way. Lunchbox 4 beef and tomato sandwiches 1 banana 1 apple 1 nectarine 2 digestive biscuits 1 M&S raspberry yoghurt Random Thought Year 2090 UK rainfall levels reduce us to this sad state of affairs. "What a lovely house honey can we afford it?" HAVE a dry and dreamy weekend

BREAKFAST: Bowl of quasi-religious Cornflakes with semi-skimmed organic milk. Walk to Work: With rain in the air [most welcomed at that] it was with an umbrella that I headed off towards the lengendary Taff Trail. En route, a cyclist had to swerve to avoid a car. He then give the driver the bird big time! On the Taff Trial there were quite a few ducks and a single magnificent Swan on the River Taff below. Lunchbox 2 beef and tomato brown rolls 2 digestive biscuits 1 banana 1 apple A handful of green grapes. Random Thought Year 2050: Underneath that rugby maul is the future first president of Antarctica whose capital is AmundScott

BREAKFAST Musical hall like bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed organic milk. Then had a cup of boiled water with freshly squeezed lemon juice... oh what a delicate flower! Walk to Work; It was down the Taff Trail, where the River Taff was very calm. Quite a few dogs were out running with their owners. In the distantce I saw the immacuately groomed white husky dog crossing over the neat pedestrian bridge with his owner en route to the magnificient grounds of Cardiff Castle. Lunchbox 2 digestive biscuits. 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt 1 banana 1 apple 1 satsuma 2 ham brown rolls RANDOM THOUGHT Year 2090: First Big Issue seller spotted on the streets of the Antarctican capital of AmundScott

BREAKFAST: C+ bowl of Branflakes with a sprinkling of porride oats with semi-skimmed organic milk; a pint of water and two pieces of toast with Olivo spread and blackcurrant jam. Walk to Work: Decided to take a stroll down Cowbridge Road East. Had planned, on shutting my PvC front door, to memorise the names of as many restaurants and cafes en route as possible, but have only just remembered that... so perhaps tomorrow. Had a glance at a number of faces on a bus, which was held up in traffic. Lunchbox 2 digestive biscuits 2 beef and tomato brown rolls 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt 1 banana 1 satsuma 1 apple RANDOM THOUGHT 2030: The WDA's former man in Milan, Paul Wright, lands the first inward investment project for the Antarctican capital of AmundScott... a Korean company making miniature models of Lord Rowe-Beddoe. BREAKFAST: Bowl of Branflakes with semi-skimmed cold milk; two pieces of brown toast with Olivio spread and blackcurrant jam and a cup of hot water with lemon. Walk to Work; It was down the Taff Trial this morning, where a whole array of dogs and their owners were out in force. River Taff was pretty relaxed looking, while demolition activity at the home of Glamorgan County Cricket, Sophia Gardens, had moved up a few gears. The pavilion is nearly completed demolished and could be gone by the morning. Further along and a cyclist had to swerve fiercely to avoid a pedestrian. Lunchbox 2 digestive biscuits 2 brown ham and tomato rolls. 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt 1 banana 1 satsuma 1 apple 1 piece of Mrs B's wondrous coffee cake. Random Thought 2070: First lodge of the Magic Circle is launched in the Antarctican capital of AmundScott. Can they pull a magic iceberg out of the hat?

November 15 lunchbox

BREAKFAST: Seriously filling bowl of porridge. Walk to Work: Looked like rain was closing in as I shuffled along the Taff Trail. I used to have an i-Pod as a musical companion, but it is out of action due to "firm ware" issues. However, Mrs B, yesterday ordered a new one as it was still under warranty [but only five days were remaining]. It should be arriving next week from the States. Ducks were again out in force on the River Taff below. Lunchbox. 1 banana 1 apple 4 salmon [tinned variety] sandwiches with a hint of lemon juice on granary bread. 1 slice of chocolate cake [which was bought from the Farmers' Market in Cardiff last Sunday] Random Thought 2070: THE First Bingo hall is opened in the Antarctican capital of AmundScott. BREAKFAST : A charming bowl of Cornflakes, with, for the first time in ages, hot milk. The Walk to Work ; It was down the Taff Trail... and why not. The only alternatives are down the dreadful Cowbridge Road East, or Cathedral Road, which is my favourite stretch of highway in the whole of Cardiff. Delighted to see that the slow moving Britsh Bulldog was back on the trail after what seemed like an eternity. I thought I was imagining it, but at one stage he was actually jogging. Looked like he had lost a bit of weight too. Squirrels were really out in force this morning. The Lunchbox 4 salmon sandwiches [tinned variety] with a hint of lemon juice on granary bread. 2 chocolate biscuits. 1 vanilla flavoured Muller Light yoghurt 1 plum 1 banana. RANDOM THOUGHT YEAR 2050: My daughter Isabella [pictured left] takes her dear old dad and mum on a nice trip to Antarctica for a weekend break in the capital of AmundScott Have a great weekend .

BREAKFAST : Hearty bowl of Cornflakes with semi-skimmed cold milk THE Walk to Work: Had to be down the legendary Taff Trail, where three squirrels I spied some 10 yards ahead just casually gathering chestnuts. The sun was reflecting off the placid River Taff below, so my vision was slightly impaired throughout my journey. Lunchbox : 2 digestive biscuits 4 ham and tomato sandwiches 1 cherry flavoured yoghurt 1 banana. 1 plum All gone by 12.20pm Random Thought Year 2149: Antarctica's population of grey squirrels reaches 100,000. Anyway, just to say this blog will feature on an Eye of Wales programme which airs on Monday 13th of November at 6pm.

Was out running around my local park Llandaff Fields at 6.45am. BREAKFAST : Seriously uplifting bowl of Shreddies with semi-skimmed cold milk. The Walk to Work: It was good to see the River Taff again after a week's vacation. The river was moving as slow as ever. In the middle of the river was a lone fisherman who had a pretty good casting technique. Delighted to see the first squirrel I have seen on the Taff Trail for sometime. Lunchbox. A tour de force this morning from Mrs B 4 pieces of toast A container of home made humous 4 Quality Street sweets 2 Digestive biscuits 1 banana 1 nectarine some grapes. 1 vanilla flavoured Muller light yoghurt Before we start we would love a nice cuppa sweet heart! Shared the sweets with my colleague David Williamson, then had the digestives. Had the toast and humous just before midday _ reek of garlic, but it was worth it. Then had the banana and the yoghurt. Keeping the rest of the friut until later. Random Thought Year 2070: The world chess ch...

BREAKFAST: Pretty decent bowl of Cornflakes with semi-skimmed cold milk. The Walk to Work : It had to be down the legendary Taff Trail, which follows what was today's slow moving River Taff into the centre of Cardiff _ where I exit _ and beyond. A very animated chap stationery on his bike was talking to another bloke with a ruck sack on his back. From 20 yards away I could see he was wearing large black gloves. He looked very amusing waving his arms about and occasionally pointing too. It was then down the wood decking that forms the riverway walk, which is sandwiched between the Millennium Stadium and the River Taff. Some 100 yards down and I had my first ever litter confrontation. As a gang of teenage boys approached, one threw a plastic bottle into the River Taff below. They all found it highly amusing. I couldn't let it go, so said something like. "Very clever that mate.. well done" [sarcastic] They were not very happy... but kept on walking. I had a vision of th...

BREAKFAST: Fine bowl of Branflakes with semi-skimmed cold milk THE WALK to WORK There were more dogs on the Taff Trail than I have seen in a long time, including that wayward Doberman which has given me quite a few frights in the past. The immaculately groomed White Husky dog also made an appearance. No squirrels again in view this morning. At the end of the trail, before Canton Bridge, the Chinese State Circus had arrived in town. Not many were about, but their big top looked pretty impressive.... was wondering if Wales's most affable senior civil servant, Gareth Hall , who I encountered on the trail yesterday, had joined their ranks ( and no, I am not implying a new career as a clown!). LUNCHBOX 4 ham sandwiches, with cherry tomatoes, on granary bread 1 banana 1 peach 1 Vanilla flavoured Muller Light yoghurt. WHAT a deliciously crisp cover drive Sandwiches were first to go (bowled middle stump), then the fruit which was tragically run-out after looking well set just before ...

BREAKFAST: Marvellous bowl of Cornflakes with cold semi-skimmed milk. The Walk to Work. Sun was really trying to break through (fair play), but even with clear blue skies there was the odd drop of rain... well that's the UK for you! Down the Taff Trial into the centre of Cardiff and it was cyclist mania this morning. And at last more on the wildlife front, noted two fierce looking ravens foraging for food on the river bank, as well as quite a few chilled out ducks on the River Taff below. The immaculate groomed white Husky passed me with his owner. LUNCHBOX... 1 banana 1 plum 4 chicken sandwiches on granary bread 1 toffee flavoured Muller Light Yoghurt 1 slice of coconut cake made by Plugs of Trumpton. THIS oven could do with a good clean! Went for the cake first (and why not!), followed by the banana and then the plum. Sandwiches were rapidly demolished just before midday. Yoghurt will go shortly. RANDOM THOUGHT 2333: Adam and Eve are brought back to life (don't ask me ho...

Breakfast: Cornflakes with cold semi-skimmed milk, 2 pieces of toasted slice granary bread with blackcurrant jam and a a glass of water. WALK to Work. It was raining this morning on departure from my humble abode. Opted to take an umbrella with the rain enjoying taking centre stage... with encouragement from a freshening wind. By the time I reach Pontcanna Fields the rain had ceased, so used the umbrella as a walking stick. A huge seagull was surveying the scene perched on the railings which run along the length of the River Taff Trail. Up close they are fierce looking creatures. It waited until I was only a foot away before deciding to fly off to the other side of the Taff. A squirrel I spied, boldly jumped head first into a green rubbish bin.... another was munching on something on a low lying branch on a riverside tree. Lunchbox : Out to lunch today with some PR executives from London, but as I am having a few drinks after work it will be pressed into action. Last night Mrs B made ...
