Breakfast: Just a "deal with it" bowl of Shreddies with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Walk to Work: It was down Cowbridge Road East which takes you rapidly along into the centre of Cardiff. Californians would have real issues with it's down beat nature, but I'm not particularly bothered by that. At 10am I hooked up with Welsh finance wizard Harry Lewis [pictured above]. We had a very nice coffee... with Lucy from Swansea, who is not with the GMB union! Harry is a keen diarist and has penned a daily entry since he was 18. He is currently in dicussions with a New York publishing house. Harry has shed quite a bit of weight too... some 16 pounds to be exact in the last few months. But I would love to read Harry's entry about the telecommunications sector in Shropshire! As for Harry and the credit crunch... let's just say it's best not to go there. Now Harry is a very competitive soul, which is a good trait to have. We once had an entralling round of golf

Breakfast: You know what? No Sorry start again: I had a bowl of Branflakes with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Walk to Work: It was down Cowbridge Road East this morning, with Mrs B and pram transported Isabella for company. We had a few legal forms to sign at a law firm in the centre of Cardiff. Had a few problems with the lift on the way down though - like not pushing the ground floor button with the necessary force and then wondering why we weren't moving. Mrs B found that very funny. Lunchbox 4 salmon sandwiches [tinned variety] with a hint of lemon juice Some strawberries A Rachel's organic yoghurt 1 banana 1 apple. Random Thought 2010: The Welsh Sand Castle Act is passed. Everyone has the right to take an hour off work to build a sand castle at a Welsh beach of their choice. With global warming the Welsh Assembly Government wants everyone to have the opportunity of experiencing building one, before rising sea levels cover our beaches.

Breakfast: Just missed military service bowl of Branflakes with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Walk To Work: It was down Cowbridge Road East, which takes control in shuffling you along into the centre of Cardiff. Not a great deal to report... just that most people I passed seemed to be Eastern European. Lunchbox 2 chocolate digestive biscuits 4 ham and salad sandwiches 1 banana 1 apple 1 orange [which I didn't eat, so perhaps tomorrow] Random Thought : There's a wedding going on behind me. The King and Queen have abdicated , long live the fruit machine revolution! Nudge and hold and cherries three in a line. There's enough methane gas in South Wales to power the world.

Isabella making a valid point . Breakfast: Encouraging second half performance bowl of Branflakes with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Walk to Work: It was down the legendary Taff Trail this morning, where the screeching of bicycle brakes was the order of things. River Taff looked particularly bored ,...perhaps a job swap with the Mississippi could be in order. Lunchbox: Was full of wonderful things, but I had forgotten about a lunch date at a fine restaurant in the centre of Cardiff with Neil Jones and Robin Harvard. So my lunchbox will become dinner at home Random Thought: Not done the above for a while. From memory I wasn't that good at it, but I could punch a hole in a "Wet South Wales Echo." But I guess everyday we have arm wrestles in our heads... some go on for years without resolution. They might just fade out of the picture for a while, but your brain "TV station" will occasionally revisit and make them headline news again.... and it doesn'

Breakfast: A Jason Perry upbeat bowl of Cornflakes with semi-skimmed organic milk. Walk to Work: Back in the land of income generation today. So it was down Cowbridge Road East with a sense of... being sensible, yes on reflection that was my mindset. Traffic wasn't horrendous, a pretty good flow as a matter of fact. I walked at a pretty good pace, but not too crazy. It was a even pace to be more precise, speaking of which watch this video for the world's best ever example of running an even pace race. Lunchbox 2 chocolate digestive biscuits 4 ham and salad sandwiches 1 apple 1 peach 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt Random Thought Run straight and strong for as long as you can . or Stay strong for long It's your picnic... enjoy!

My brain is still turning, but in a direction which is pushing me towards the back of the post office queue. When in times of strife, remember there are two types of women. Imagine this . Ration cards in hand and a butcher with produce few. But a smile from wife group A melts his heart and a few kindly words fly back and forth across the counter. Wife group A returns home with more meat than she should... but dad and children are so pleased. Wife group B just gets her family allowance right on the nose, like an ageing prize fighter, somewhat relieved just hours before the sound of that familiar bell, with his wryly old trainer standing intensely behind the scales. Come on its 2007, not 1943! Sorry about that. Of course there are many types of women and indeed there are many different shades inside just one. It all depends on circumstances as to which one [ more than one? Well that's common too ] takes centre stage at any particular time. As for men, there are many different typ

Have been suffering from blogitis... but have made a full recovery to post my first entry for a while today. Me Isabella and Noddy at Margam Park last Saturday. Breakfast: Do as you're told bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed organic milk. Before breakfast it was a run around my local park, Llandaff Fields. Walk to Work: Not on the agenda this week as I away from my venue of income generation... and so is Mrs B. Just chilling out and getting out and about, including a trip to Bath yesterday. Lunch: I made a pretty impressive omelette on a bed of brown toast. Random Thought I am not a great swimmer. And it always surprises my how poor my technique is when I see octogenarians whistling past me doing what seems like a very modest breast stroke pace. I am much better at running, but a Seb Coe? Well certainly not. So how many swimming goggles have I owned in my life. My gut instinct is that it's about 10

Breakfast: Fire station like bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Walk to Work: It was down Cowbridge Road East this fine morning here in Old South Wales. Getting to the stage in my existence that I am seeing more people I recognise, but for the life of me cannot recall their names, or for that matter what they do. This could be result of my data base of acquaintances increasing at a fastest pace than my ability to recall. Lunc hbox 4 ham and tomato sandwiches on for the first in time in ages white bread 1 nectarine 1 banana 2 chocolate digestive biscuits. Random Thought: Year 2200: Max Boyce returns to earth in Antarctica and its capital of AmundScott . Max soon takes to the stage and encouragingly 61.6% of the audience are not Welsh or of Welsh descent. It's a one off concert as Max is soon called back "upstairs" as God wants him to have a word with the Pontypool front row who have just given Peter and Paul a bloody good kickin !

Breakfast: A 1950s western like bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Walk to Work: I was accompanied this morning by a centre of Cardiff bound Mrs B and Isabella. Had to stop every five minutes to tighten the laces of my new shoes. We travelled down the River Taff Trail where Mrs B couldn't believe the scale of the new stadium at the home of Glamorgan County Cricket Club. Lunchbox 4 salmon sandwiches with a hint of lemon juice 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt 2 chocolate digestive biscuits 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt Random Thought Get off this blog by midnight my friend!

Breakfast: Weetabix with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Had a glass of water too. Walk to Work: With my companion an iPod shuffle it was down Cowbridge Road this morning and into the centre of the Welsh capital. Over Canton Bridge and then down Westgate Street I passed the Millennium Stadium, which at the end of the day was a steal at £135m when you consider the cost of the new Wembley Stadium Lunchbox 4 slamon [tinned variety] salmon sandwiches with a hint of lemon juice 2 chocolate digestive biscuits 1 banana 1 apple 1 nectarine some grapes wrapped in tinfoil... which from memory was not made in the UK. Random Thought What do rubbish [sorry refuge] collectors make of it all? Let's find out by asking Tony Lake who is a full time rubbish man from Crewe, in the North of England. "I love this job... it gets you out of the house, keeps you fit. The guys at the depot are cracking... we have a really good laugh. We are usually done by 3pm then its a quick shower and a few pints an

Breakfast: It was a plain and simple bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed cold organic milk, also had quite a bit of water [tapped version] too. Walk to Work: It was in an automobile this morning to my place of income generation in the centre of Cardiff. Lunchbox 4 ham and tomato sandwiches 2 digestive chocolate biscuits 1 banana 1 apple 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt Random Thought Want to earn £1000 a month, working from home, only five hours a week? I don't have any legal answers yet. Anyway check this blog entry out for a much better Random Thought from a chap who lives in Risca, South Wales. My parents and old brother lived in Risca for a while back in the early 1960s. My dad worked in the town's steelworks, but I would be very surprised if he walked to work - while carrying a lunchbox.
