Dear Dad, It was great that you and mum were around on Saturday to watch my first steps. I really enjoyed it and I am glad it made you both so happy. Now we have to take this new form of transport one step at a time [yeah my first gag too] but it's going to be a hoot.

BREAKFAST: Poetic bowl of Cornflakes with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Was in the groove so then had two pieces of toast with blackcurrant jam. The Walk to Work. It was down the downbeat [but it can be upbeat depending on my mindset] Cowbridge Road East this morning, which is very purposeful in taking citizens of Cardiff into the the centre of the Welsh capital. Was kinda of raining, but nobody bothered to refer it to the television referee. Lunchbox 4 sausage sandwiches 1 apple 1 banana 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt Random Thought: When I was kid I would spend hours kicking a football against a wall [any wall I could find around my home in Grangetown Cardiff]. Then in the summer I would spend hours hitting a tennis ball with my aluminum racket against a wall. Somethings there would be a few of us taking it in turns to kick the ball against the wall, or two of us playing wall tennis. Have a particular wall in mind which has to be still there... Breakfast: Time pressing bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed organic milk. Walk To Work: It was back down the legendary Taff Trial this morning. A great deal of pedestrian and cyclist activity and a few dogs at ease with the world too. The immaculately groom white huskey dog also made an appearance with his owner. Lunchbox: 4 ham and salad sandwiches 2 chocolate digestive biscuits 1 apple 1 banana 1 plum Some grapes and strawberries. Random Thought: When life gets you in the pit of your stomach. Be brave and take a steady and firm foot forward . We interrupt this self-righteous nonsense to make an importance announcement. Over to you Mr Ali Khan: Oh yes thank you. The Earth will self destruct in five minutes!

I am not in Cardiff this week but Preston... England's newest city in the North West of the country. Have been here before, many many moons ago. Why I'm here? It's all income generation related. Away from Mrs B and Isabella for the first time since we became a family. Random Thought: Don't let technicians rule your world!

BREAKFAST: Very enjoyable bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed organic milk Walk to Work: It was back down the legendary Taff Trail this morning. The new test match cricket arena at the home of Glamorgan County Cricket is coming on a treat. In one of the stands all the seating is in place, with the shape of the daffodil formed several times along its length. Quite a few cyclists whistled past and at the pedestrian bridge which takes you over the River Taff I believe I saw a former school colleague, but she was quite a bit away so I couldn't be sure officer. Ducks were out in force on the river bank... and it was good to see you guys. Luncbox 2 chocolate digestive biscuits 1 banana 1 apple Rachel's organic yoghurt... not had a Muller's in ages. 4 ham and salad sandwiches Random Thought Gum shield on the field are you missing your Kiwi friend? WORLD Premiere on this blog tomorrow of the I'm losing my mind podcast Random Thought Today's message from beyond the grave comes from Saint David/ Dewi Sant To everyone in Wales, remember that your greatest asset is being next to England. That might sound a little controversial and difficult to digest for some of you, but come on smell the coffee/coffi. Cannot believe 20% of you are still conversing in Welsh. Had a wager with Saint Andrew 90 years ago that it would have died out by 2010. Nice to think it is still going though. Have no issue with languages, as up here you can converse with anyone and I think James Hook should be playing at No 10

Dear Dad, I want to feed myself at all times. I know you mean well, but I don't want you pushing a spoonful of food in my face anymore. It's best that I learn on the job.... sure it will not all be plain sailing with plenty of mess along the way. But this is how we all learn and no doubt your good self way back in the mid to late 1960s... Dad you are going to be pretty old soon. But your mine and you're the business. xxx Breakfast: This is the not the end bowl of Cornflakes with semi-skimmed cold organic milk. Walk to Work: Not really making its mind up on the rain front. As quickly as I could it was down Cowbridge Road East and into the centre of Cardiff. Lunchbox 4 ham and salad sandwiches [brown bread] 2 chocolate digestive biscuits 1 banana Some strawberries 1 Rachel's organic yoghurt Random Thought: Christmas Eve.. this year, and why not The three Fijians, the greatest rugby playing singing greats on the planet play a one off concert at the Millennium Stadium in C
