Feb 14th, lunchbox

MY lunchbox does have time for recreational activities. Here it is pictured recently during a Addis Lunchbox hide and seek weekend, which was held in the Forest of Dean.

He was spotted with just 30 seconds remaining on the clock having hidden successfully for 2 hours, by a lunchbox which is used to store chicken stock at a Greek Cypriot restaurant in Glasgow.

The Walk to Work.

Rain was in the air this morning, and about time as well.
Took the scenic route through Pontcanna Fields. Was unable to clarify if the number plate I remembered yesterday was correct, as the LandRover was no where to be seen.

More dogs were out and about than I have seen for a while. One chap was trying to control four dogs just before the River Taff Trail. They were all pretty excitable and trying to catch squirrels... which is always a fruitless task.
That brush covered in paint I saw last week, reappeared, this time just off the trail having been thrown into the undergrowth.
Quite a few duck I spied below on the River Taff, they all looked extremely contented.

Lunchbox
2 Rich Tea biscuits
4 smoked salmon sandwiches on granary bread with that obligatory hint of lemon juice.
1 banana
1 apple
1 Muller Light cherry flavoured yoghurt.
1 small container of kiwi fruit and grapes.

Young man young man, what happened?.... (can you picture Jimmy Saville?)

The Geneva Convention went out of the window because I was really hungry. Biscuits went at 11am, followed at 11.05am by the banana. Sandwiches were ambushed at midday. 5mins later I took out the yoghurt and then the kiwi fruit and grapes. Before the apple could raise a white flag I had eaten that as well.

Random Thought:

This blog is not a meal ticket out of my current job... but it is my lunch.

2105: The Pope (still a man, but the third from Africa) blesses the first cathedral in Antarctica. Following year the world's first joint venture Mosque/Synagogue facility is opened in Tehran(hurrah for our faith in humanity!)

2099: The first magnetically powered highway between the west and east coasts of the US is officially opened by Britney Spears to mark the start of her comeback tour.

Today's job swap: Australian actor Russell Crowe and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Ps... Hello to Tom (and Kim) and Philip Walton in Brisbane, Australia.... keep smiling lads and do you recall this: "Did anyone have that mushroom ravioli?"
