March 22nd lunchbox
THE DREAM TEAM
A RED squirrel (whose name is Rufus) and my dear old lunchbox.
They had a great time last night chatting about the environment, my blog and their favourite table tennis players of all time.
Breakfast: Three Weetabix with cold milk and two pieces of sliced toasted white bread with olivo spread and blackcurrant jam.
The Walk to Work.
Again quite cold this morning. The two regal swans I see occasionally on the River Taff were back with a bang this morning. However, they were some 50 metres apart, when usually they are side by side. Perhaps they had had a bust-up, or decided they just needed some time apart.
However, the ducks were having a great time. The white husky dog (immaculately groomed) which I see often on the other side of the River Taff, passed me with his owner.
The Lunchbox... made my own today as Mrs B had a breakfast meeting.
2 chocolate digestive biscuits
4 ham and tomato sandwiches on granary bread
1 toffee flavoured yoghurt
1 banana
1 apple
1 small container of sliced up kiwi fruit and red and green grapes.
COME on you're on!
Ravenous this morning, complete carnage!.. all gone by 11.47am!
RANDOM THOUGHT
2020: The King of England (Charlie boy) decides to call it a day and retreats to a beautiful Buddhist monastery on the outskirts of Swindon, with his pal the Dali Lama ... Good for them... but they should have done it years ago.
Hello to Mr Timothy Walton of the village of Trumpton... glad you enjoyed your dinner the other night. Perhaps the good Lady Plugs will start giving you a wondrous lunchbox each day soon?
