BREAKFAST: Had to be a three Weetabix with semi-skimmed cold milk

THE RETURN of the WALK to WORK.

Yes, after eight days paternity leave (you big girl's blouse!) it was back to earning some corn this morning.

For the first time in my life I kissed my wife and baby Isabella goodbye. I would probaby have kissed the milkman too, but we don't have one.

Nice start, until I open the front door to be confronted by a huge cloud burst. With good umbrella handling skills it was off towards the Taff Trail which leads into the centre of Cardiff following the course of the River Taff, which was unconscious like this morning.

Didn't pass a single soul for the majority of the trail. On the river below was a mum and dad duck with five ducklings in tow.

Just before leaving the trail I came across the immaculately groomed white Husky and his proud owner, who I have passed so many times before.

Lunchbox.... rocking and rolling this morning.

4 ham and tomato sandwiches on granary bread.
2 Rich tea digestive biscuits
1 Muller Light Yoghurt... cherry flavour
1 banana
1 small container of a cut up kiwi fruit and a plum.

YOU know I have lived here for years, but still don't know how to set the central heating!

Biscuits fell early at 11am, followed by the container of fruit and the banana... good combination.
Sandwiches were gone by midday and the yoghurt, which was my first in over two weeks.

RANDOM THOUGHT

2145: The first manned space ship from Cape Treorchy (in the Valleys of South Wales and pictured how it is today) is successfully launched on a mission to Pluto in search of the First Minister for Wales Rhodri Morgan, who is believed to be living on the planet after being buried in space 100 years earlier.

Old Rhodri was brought back to life after his capsule had miraculously passed through and back out again of a Black Hole.

His first words after being brought back to earth were, "How are Cardiff City doing (that's a football team)."

Tomorrow on this blog a little song about a bear who resides in a cave.
