June 15th lunchbox

WAS out running at 6.40am this morning around my local park Llandaff Fields.

Rubbish levels were extremely disappointing, so decided to do a little bit about it and picked up a discarded can of coke and a bottle of lucozade and put them in a bin... eventhough I had to run with them for about 500 yards (What do you want a medal or something!)

BREAKFAST

Bowl of Branflakes with cold semi-skimmed milk.

Isabella our nearly 7 week old daughter was a delight this morning... having only
awoken once in the night (2am) for a feed.


Walk to Work.

Sun was back out as I headed off merrily down the legendary Taff Trial, which leads into the centre of Cardiff (yes we know all that!).
Quite a few pedestrians and cyclists were also to be found. The Chinese State Circus who have encamped just of the trail, had the full attention of a suited middle aged chap walking towards me. I was hemmed in by cyclists to my right so had to jump off the trail to avoid him as he passed me totally oblivious to my plight.


LUNCHBOX

4 ham and tomato sandwiches on granary bread
1 banana
1 peach
1 Muller Light Yoghurt

I think we are parked by that huge Strawberry or was it the Cherry?

Food was devoured in a bit of a frenzy... must have been the result of my early morning run

BREAKFAST: Was in the gym at 6.44am this morning.... first time in a month. Returned to have a swell bowl of Cornflakes with semi-skimmed milk. THE WALK to WORK THE rain and wind tested by umbrella handing skills to the limit this morning. Down the Taff Trail and the home of Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Sophia Gardens, was looking particularly sad this morning. A cyclist waved as she passed me on the trail, turned out to be work colleague Anna Morrell . May 31st lunchbox

A podcast on the Welsh Forgetter of the Year. TO HEAR THE BARDS in ACTION CLICK HERE, DIOLCH! BREAKFAST: Very good bowl of Branflakes THE WALK to WORK. SUN was radiating as I ambled down what was a POSTCARDESQUE River Taff Trail this morning. Was i-Podless so had the full symphony of bird song, interspersed with the chimes of the Clock Tower of Cardiff Castle. THE LUNCHBOX 4 salmon sandwiches(tinned variety)with a hint of lemon juice. 1 plum 1 banana 1 Toffee flavoured Muller Light Yoghurt. 2 Chocolate digestive biscuits. TRUST ME MY WIFE IS A MAGISTRATE. Biscuits went early, followed by the fruit then the sandwiches just before midday. Saving the yoghurt until later RANDOM THOUGHT 2021: THE opening of the first TESCO UNIVERSITY, where students are schooled in Tescology, is delayed after members of the ANTI-TESCO league chain themselves to supermarket trollies in the offices of the Vice-Chancellor, located at the end of the Frozen Food aisle of the new campus
