december 8 lunchbox

BREAKFAST: Two pieces of toast with Olivio spread and blackcurrant jam. Was going to have cereals, but we had no milk.

Have to admit to feeling pretty "foggy" this fine morning on account of over indulgence last night at a Christmas bash hosted by Equinox PR here in the Welsh capital of Cardiff [still think we should merge with our near city neighbour Newport.... Carport or Newiff?
Anyway it was a very enjoyable night... so thanks to Eryl and the gang

Walk to Work: This will not happen until Boxing Day as today I start a two week holiday.

Plans for today? Walk! walk! walk. Weather permitting of course.

Random Thought

2010: Wales take team gold at the Get Wasted Olympics in Las Vegas.... the team's still standing captain is Zara Parry (below).

Zara said, "Don't bother with the medal ceremony darling, just get me a bottle of Bollie!"

Welsh weather stikes essex.
Yes,today i awoke to find water falling from the sky,i woke the children so they could witness this freak event. "It looks just like Uncle Badgers house"said Amy my 8yrs old,yes Amy i said thats cos Uncle Badger lives in the land of Gog where it rains every day.
As you may now realise Gringo Pig and Uncle Badger are one and the same,I would be very interested to hear of any other "sporting activities" Badger has engaged in with large Afro-Carribean gentlemen.

Welsh weather is still very bad Lord Essex.

Uncle Badger likes shooting wildlife from the skies, but have no idea if he has done this in the West Indies.

Gringo Pig is a fiercely competitive sort of chat, especially on the cricket field. I once bowled at him many years ago and anything slightly short of a length went "All the way to Swansea."

BREAKFAST: Was in the gym at 6.44am this morning.... first time in a month. Returned to have a swell bowl of Cornflakes with semi-skimmed milk. THE WALK to WORK THE rain and wind tested by umbrella handing skills to the limit this morning. Down the Taff Trail and the home of Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Sophia Gardens, was looking particularly sad this morning. A cyclist waved as she passed me on the trail, turned out to be work colleague Anna Morrell . A podcast on the Welsh Forgetter of the Year. TO HEAR THE BARDS in ACTION CLICK HERE, DIOLCH! BREAKFAST: Very good bowl of Branflakes THE WALK to WORK. SUN was radiating as I ambled down what was a POSTCARDESQUE River Taff Trail this morning. Was i-Podless so had the full symphony of bird song, interspersed with the chimes of the Clock Tower of Cardiff Castle. THE LUNCHBOX 4 salmon sandwiches(tinned variety)with a hint of lemon juice. 1 plum 1 banana 1 Toffee flavoured Muller Light Yoghurt. 2 Chocolate digestive biscuits. TRUST ME MY WIFE IS A MAGISTRATE. Biscuits went early, followed by the fruit then the sandwiches just before midday. Saving the yoghurt until later RANDOM THOUGHT 2021: THE opening of the first TESCO UNIVERSITY, where students are schooled in Tescology, is delayed after members of the ANTI-TESCO league chain themselves to supermarket trollies in the offices of the Vice-Chancellor, located at the end of the Frozen Food aisle of the new campus
