May 21 lunchbox
BREAKFAST:
Miraculous bowl of Weetabix with semi-skimmed cold organic milk.
Walk to Work:
It was again down Cowbridge Road East, which leads one into the centre of Cardiff. There are some historic sites along the way including the house where Ivor Novello was born. Crossing Canton Bridge, which takes you over the River Taff, a regal Swan could be seen below.
I then opted to travel along the river way walk with runs riverside along the length of the Millennium Stadium.
Lunchbox:
2 cheese rolls [mild organic cheddar]
1 Rachel's organic yoghurt
1 apple
1 banana
some grapes
Random Thought
Pigs are the salvation of the world!
Pigs are the salvation of the world!
What the hell are you talking about Roger?
They are so clever.... they're just waiting
Roger... please you're making a complete fool of yourself.
Okay Bill I will, but the pigs are coming and there will be no stopping them!
I think it's best that you shop at another butcher's from now on Roger.

Big fan of the blog. When I was walking across Canton Bridge this morning, I saw two regal swans. Unfortunately they both had their heads under the water. It looked very odd, and I've certainly never seen behaviour like that before. Do you think they were trying to kill themselves because they are so disappointed with the monotony of their lives? Think about it. Do you think that's true? You never see them anywhere except the section of the Taff between Blackweir and the Millennium Stadium. That must get pretty boring after a time.
Swan suicide pact?
I think they have far too much going for them for such drastic action.
In terms of terrain, that's quite a stretch of waterway and with no competition.
I think they are well happy having had a great winter somewhere far warmer than here.
