How many people in Wales live in bungalows?

WELSH people are more likely to live in a bungalow than any other part of the UK, new research has revealed.

A survey by The Bungalow Commission, which represents the UK's 12,000 single-storey houses, found that 57,000 Welsh people live in bungalows.

That puts Wales at the top of the bungalow-dwelling league, with more bungalows per head of population than any other nation or region in the UK.

Alan Davies, Wales secretary of The Bungalow Commission, said: "This research shows that Welsh people really are at the heart of bungalow culture, and have taken living on ground floors to new heights."
