Tuesday 7th Feburary, Lunchbox
Breakfast: Bowl of Cornflakes with organic semi-skimmed milk. Also had a crumpet with Olivio spread.
The Walk to Work
The joys of spring again this morning. On the other side of the river [Taff] are the grounds of Cardiff Castle.
There is always quite a bit of activity on the more "upmarket" east side of the river.
This morning I was delighted to see a number of council workers picking up litter.
Plenty of groovy birdsong filled the air, but not even a solitary squirrel to be seen
For a change on leaving the Taff Trail I took the route to work along the riverside walkway that runs along the Millennium Stadium.
Have to say the wooden decking can be quite slippery when it has been raining. Not sure who would be liable if someone made an insurance claim if injured after falling over.

Mrs B is still weaving her considerable magic in the kitchen
2 sausage sandwiches (left over from last night's sausage, mash and onion gravy.
2 ham sandwiches
2 rich tea biscuits
1 satsuma
1 banana
1 container of red and green grapes and kiwi fruit... awesome!
1 Muller Light cherry yoghurt
How it was consumed.
Yeah it had to be the biscuits just before 11am. I then had the banana. Midday I had the sandwiches, starting with the sausage ones.... they were excellent.
I never tire on my yoghurts.... it was then the remaining fruit.
Random thought: Do we call it Great Britain because Britain is great, or is it a reference to a wide geographical area? and what about Great Yarmouth?
Warranties: Next time you are in an electrical store and some annoying salesman is trying to sell you a £50 three year extended warranty say on a £220 digital camera try this line:
"Warranty what a good idea. Tell you what, if you knock £45 off the camera, you've got a deal."
Prediction 2095: A woman will hold the world record for the Marathon.
