March 10th lunchbox

The ducks on the River Taff, with a seagull coming into land.

Breakfast: Branflakes this morning with semi-skimmed milk.

The Walk to Work
Quite spring like this morning, after the howling chilling wind of last night.... the centre of Cardiff is like a wind tunnel at times.

It was through Pontcanna Fields and down the legendary River Taff Trail.... it was a morning for small dogs with two terriers running ahead of its pretty laid back owner.

More ducks than you could shake a stick at on the River Taff this morning, although again no squirrels to be seen in the trees.

The Lunchbox.

Lovely piece of plum crostata.... which was brought all the way from the Italian village of Casperia by my Aunty Maureen
4 ham and tomato sandwiches
1 cherry Muller Light yoghurt
1 apple
1 banana
small container of grapes and sliced kiwi fruit and a cut up plum

From the top 1-2-3-4!

Had the crostata, which is made in the bakery in Casperia and it was molto bene!
Banana was next and then the sandwiches just before midday. I then polished off the remaining fruit.
Random Thought:
2100. The Estonian team wearily emerge from a deep cave complex in Bolivia after 90 years to take the inaugural World Hide and Seek title.

The first team to be eliminated, after only 33 mins _ way back in 2010 _ were the Italian team (pictured above) who were spotted happily sipping cappuccinos and generally gossiping in a popular cafe in Rieti.

Have a great lunch and sensational weekend
