March 14th lunchbox
THE WALK to Work
Tale/Tail of two terrier dogs this morning on the River Taff Trail. One was running with a stick in its mouth, which if proportioned to a human would be around the size of a cricket bat.
Two minutes later and another ( but not as well groomed as the previous) had a tennis ball in its mouth. His owner gave out one of the loudest belches I have heard for a long-time as I passed him.... good for him!
River Taff was extremely calm and was being out paced by a very neat looking mechanical digger which was moving at a snail's pace on the path on the other side of the river.
The Lunchbox:
Small container of anchovies with capers in olive oil.
1 apple
1 banana
1 small container of green grapes, pieces of plum and thinly sliced kiwi fruit
2 ham and tomato sandwiches on granary bread
2 sausage sandwiches on granary bread.... the sausages were left over from Mrs B's marvellous bangers & mash last night.
1 raspberry and cranberry flavoured Muller Light Yoghurt.
Get on with it!
Banana and the container of fruit went early, just after 11am. at 11.45am I had the anchovies which we bought from the Farmers' Market in Cardiff on Sunday. Had the great sandwich combination just before midday.
Biscuits went after that, followed by the yoghurt... keeping the apple for later.
