March 1st, lunchbox

Walk to Work.
It was snowing this morning, with the streets covered in a blanket of white.
Took the scenic route through Pontcanna Fields and along the River Taff Trail.... Just a handful of ducks were on the River Taff below.
It was great to see the home of Glamorgan Cricket Club, Sophia Gardens, covered in snow.

The lunchbox.
2 rich tea biscuits
4 salmon sandwiches (tinned variety) with a hint of lemon juice on granary bread
1 banana
1 apple
1 strawberry flavoured Muller Light yoghurt.
1 small container of sliced kiwi friut, strawberries and green grapes.

Tell us all about it?
Biscuits were eaten just after 11am. I then opted for the banana. Sandwiches were gone by midday, followed by the friut... breaking with tradition I had the yoghurt last.

Most alcohol I have consumed in one day?

I was 18 and had about four pints at lunch time with a mate. We then bought a gallon of cider from an off-licence and headed for the grounds of Cardiff Castle to drink it, but I don't think we managed to finish it.

On walking home at around 5pm I bumped into another mate who had just finished work [David Jones who was then and is still a very good gardener]. He fancied a pint so I joined him... well it would have been rude not to!

We must had had about 7 pints until about 11pm having gone into the centre of Cardiff at around 8pm. We then ended up at a house party somewhere in the Roath district Cardiff where we consumed quite a bit more alcohol, including from memory a bottle Malibu - how classy was that.

We left at around 3am, but I do recall feeling remarkably sober.

Random Thought
2015: Cardiff is voted the rubbish free capital of the world.

2199: First car boot sale on Mars.

It is time to mass produce the first all in one, washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer.
