September 7th lunchbox

WAS up at 6.30am for a run around my local park Llandaff Fields... felt good this morning.

Breakfast: Very hearty bowl of 3 Weetabix with semi-skimmed cold milk.

Walk to Work: It was down the Taff Trail which follows the lethargic River Taff into the centre of Cardiff.
Came across a blue tent just off the trail, nestled up against a large tree. From inside came a loud cough.

Lunchbox: Not required today as I as back in the corporate trough!

Random Thought

INSIDE this bin is an unopened letter, addressed to Sir Terry Matthews _ the telecommunications billionaire.
It was penned by a certain Andrew Davies, the Welsh Assembly's Minister for Enterprise, Innovation and Networks.

So how did it get there and what is in the letter?.... to be continued

“Good to see you back, happily, in the corporate trough. I miss it dearly.

Can I suggest a new strategy for your eating during the day. I worry that you seem to eat too quickly and then leave yourself exposed to possibility of a debilitating hunger later in the day. For instance, the digestives (or other sundry biscuits) seem to be usually finished by about 11.00 and then you rush straight into lunch, finishing everything by 12.30 or 1.30 at the latest. My concern is that you have precious little to sustain you during the long afternoon.

Could I suggest the following please?

Eat the damn fruit (it's not really food anyway)in the morning - get the boring stuff over with.

And then.

And this is the critical bit. Save the sandwiches for a proper lunch-break (and walk around) at about 1.00pm. You will then have the biscuits to look forward to at about 4.00 (with a cup of strong tea) that will help through to tea-time.

Just a suggestion.”

Hope that this helps.

Awww... it's so nice to see a happy, smiling face. The baby's cute, too.
